Chemically active fibers and filtering materials PANION®

PANION®in its nature is ion-exchange fibers or spatially-cross-linked fibrous structures with functional groups of acid and (or) base nature, which have chemical properties of granular ion exchangers and at the same time have a number of indisputable advantages:

  • High rate of ion exchange and sorption processes (10–100 times higher than that of granular ion exchangers).
  • High efficiency of air and water purification at low concentrations of impurities (97–100%).
  • The low resistance of the filtering layer to air or liquid in the sorption process.
  • Effective application in thin filtering layers at high velocity of the gas or liquid flow.

PANION®can be produced in the form of staple, needle-punched or thermo-fixed non-woven materials, knit fabric, thread, and the variety of other textile items.
